Oxygen-Enhanced Oxidation Reactions

Pure oxygen can be efficiently applied in gas-liquid two-phase oxidation reactions, increasing the oxygen content in the reaction system and significantly enhancing oxidation reaction efficiency. Compared to using air alone, introducing pure oxygen can improve reaction selectivity and product yield, achieve unit capacity expansion, reduce product post-treatment costs, and increase operational flexibility.

Customer Applications

Customer Applications
The following industrial processes have already adopted pure oxygen/oxygen-enriched air applications or are in the process development stage: 1. Oxidation of para-xylene and meta-xylene to produce terephthalic acid (PTA) and isophthalic acid (IPA) 2. Production of acetone and phenol from benzene and cumene via the cumene hydroperoxide process 3. Production of styrene and propylene oxide from benzene and ethylene via the ethylbenzene hydroperoxide Halcon process 4. Oxidation of cyclohexane to produce cyclohexanone/cyclohexanol (KA oil) 5. Oxidation of toluene to produce benzoic acid 6. Production of hydrogen peroxide via the anthraquinone process
