Vice General Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Workbase: Sichuan Province

 

Ensure that the sales and profit targets of the company are met and that the day-to-day company policies are compiled, approved and adhered to.

 

· Deputize the GM in his/her absence;

· Control expenditure cost within budget;

· Plan and direct all activities regarding sales & marketing, procurement, F & A and distribution with the aim of achieving customer satisfaction, cost control and high efficiency;

· Establish and implement the SHE policy and ensure the safe running of the company;

· Direct the distribution team to make sure that the products/systems are delivered on time;

· Direct and establish the sales and marketing strategy of the company based on the specific situation of the company and the surrounding market;

· Establish company policies in compliance with Messer guidelines and make sure the policies are approved and adhered to;

· Assist the General Manager to fulfill all the tasks from the BoD.

 

· Minimum bachelor degree majoring in engineering/business administration;

· Good written and spoken English;

· Working knowledge of computer;

· Proven experience in marketing/sales/production management of at least 10 years in industrial gas or chemical industry. Production/quality/supply chain management experience in advanced manufacturing industry is also welcome;

· Proven people management experience of at least 5 years at or above middle management level;

· Goal-driven and system-oriented;

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

· Strong influencing skills.
