Messer Accelerates Expansion of Bulk Gas Supply for the Electronics Industry

Shanghai, August 19, 2026 – Messer, the world’s largest privately held specialist for industrial, medical, electronic and specialty gases, is accelerating the expansion of its large-scale bulk gas supply business for China’s electronics industry. A new bulk gas supply project in East China is now in the final stages of commissioning. The facility will serve a leading electronic customer, with a high-purity nitrogen supply capacity of approx. 50,000 Nm³/h.

The new project further strengthens Messer’s ability to support large-scale electronics manufacturing operations. Including projects already in operation and those currently under construction, Messer now has four large-scale bulk gas supply projects serving electronic customers in China, featuring nitrogen generators with capacities in the 50,000 Nm³/h class.

Electronics manufacturing places stringent demands on gas supply continuity and reliability, as well as on the operational capabilities required for large-scale bulk gas supply systems.
